Project Details

The original kitchen for this project had been well loved, however was far from what our clients had dreamed of and envisaged for the space. The brief was to incorporate contrast, natural elements and a hint of luxe.

With the specification of black matte cabinetry, solid concrete bench tops and warm timber details in the reclaimed cladding, handles and floating shelves, the vision was turning into a clear reality. Oblong porcelain tiles laid in a contemporary brick bond pattern together with metallic details compliments the entire design. Vgroove panelling to the far wall of the kitchen creates a subtle interest and floor to wall pantry provides an abundance of storage. Dual seating on both sides of the island bench allows for maximum seating for entertaining and family gatherings.

At night the kitchen illuminates with the introduction of slimline lighting above the island and integrated strip lighting within the floating shelves. The location and layout of kitchen appliances and amenities was carefully considered to ensure the space worked perfectly for the way our clients wanted to utilise the space.

Client Feedback

"Chelsea provided a personal and professional service to us as we finally dived in to our dream kitchen renovation. She pointed us in the right direction in terms of the actual design of the kitchen as well as tile and surface ideas. She provided a fantastic cabinet maker also and some really great tile choices. We had a vision and she certainly helped us bring it all together. We couldn’t be happier with our new kitchen that now provides us with a space that brings our family and friends together with our love of food and entertaining. I would have no hesitation is recommending Chelsea for any design and renovation ideas."
