lower plenty

The original kitchen for this project had been well loved, however was far from what our clients had dreamed of and envisaged for the space. The brief was to incorporate contrast, natural elements and a hint of luxe.

With the specification of black matte cabinetry, solid concrete bench tops and warm timber details in the reclaimed cladding, handles and floating shelves, the vision was turning into a clear reality. Oblong porcelain tiles laid in a contemporary brick bond pattern together with metallic details compliments the entire design. Vgroove panelling to the far wall of the kitchen creates a subtle interest and floor to wall pantry provides an abundance of storage. Dual seating on both sides of the island bench allows for maximum seating for entertaining and family gatherings. At night the kitchen illuminates with the introduction of slimline lighting above the island and integrated strip lighting within the floating shelves. The location and layout of kitchen appliances and amenities was carefully considered to ensure the space worked perfectly for the way our clients wanted to utilise the space.
