Project Details

A new build project curated from start to finish in ‘The Cape’ coastal eco village. The brief was to achieve a tranquil yet mindful space to suit a relaxed lifestyle.

The overall interior scheme was identified as ‘Boho Coastal’ combining soft tones, warm accents and natural, woven textures.

A full exterior and interior colour selection of soft and hard finishes as well as involving the specification of furniture, artwork, rugs, lighting, linen, décor pieces and wallpaper brought this concept together in complete harmony.

With burnished concrete floors, white stretched hexagonal and patterned encaustic wall tiles, whitewashed oak timber accents, wool looped carpets and off-white walls assisted towards achieving a calming interior palette.

‘Bayleaf’ green with ‘Polar’ white cabinetry complimented by terrazzo inspired stone benchtops and v-groove panelling to the island front achieves an interesting yet inviting culinary space.

The statement wallpaper within the home office space compliments many interior elements perfectly including the custom-made terracotta linen sofa and love seat. The entire living zone exudes comfort and style on so many levels.

This project is a true illustration of how a home can come together seamlessly when all elements and details are carefully considered and fulfilled.

Client Feedback

"Chelsea has a keen eye for detail, and true care for her clients. After a couple of quick, initial discussions and sending her my external selections, Chelsea brought together a cohesive, organic flow between my external and internal palette. I felt as though Chelsea had listened with care and brought what was in my head into reality. Chelsea's true expertise is in listening to her clients, understanding their wants and needs and creating a vision they did not think was possible. Chelsea has given me my dream home, and I am looking forward to many years in my calm and inviting space."
