A much loved family home in need of an interior refresh to enhance it's classic traditional style.
The interior was elevated with a fresh coat of paint, textural looped carpet and dado v-groove paneling installed to the entrance, hallways, family & dining spaces. Feature moulding behind the existing master bed and bedsides created interest and grandeur as well as framing the new decorative wall lights.
The master ensuite was given a complete facelift by replacing the existing pre-made shower base and lining the floors with an ornate and feminine encaustic tile. Large oblong wall tiles wrap around the entire space allowing the beveled edge mirrored storage cabinet, custom made vanity and polished chrome ornate tapware, fittings and fixtures to remain as beautiful statement pieces within this room.
Although the footprint of the Kitchen was functional, the cabinetry and panels required attention. With new shaker style profiled doors and elegant handles specified to compliment the style of the home instantly provided a renewed identity. The existing, freestanding rangehood was removed and replaced with a custom, built in integrated rangehood and new ceramic splashback tiles inheriting a subtle 'pressed metal' design bring the entire concept together effortlessly.
The sliding door to the pantry was improved with a higher, 10 light glass door, creating an elegant line of sight view. The same palette of the Kitchen was repeated into this space and the Laundry creating continuity and flow between the three working areas.
This home represents a timeless and sophisticated style for this young family to enjoy making memories in for many more years to come.
