An existing home in Toorak needing a rather extensive facelift inside and out. Starting with the extraction of the aggregate driveway and front entrance path, laid with large format honed bluestone pavers. Contemporary timber cladding and black exterior lighting were installed to the ceiling and path instantly creating an inviting entrance with strong street appeal. The paint-out of a warm hue to the living with the introduction of a floor to ceiling grey glass mirror and bold charcoal ceiling leading into the dining instantly provided a sense of continuity and intimacy. NZ wool loop pile carpet was installed including lining the open treads to the staircase to soften and lighten the space. Two pac resurfacing was specified to all panels and built in cabinetry which transformed the entire interior. Completing the transformation, a selection of custom made cushions and furniture pieces were carefully considered to seamlessly compliment all design elements and allow once neglected spaces to become comfortable and functional.
